Hi everyone,
June is #PrideMonth – a month dedicated to recognising the LGBTQ+ communities all around the world. Traditionally marked by parades, street festivals and educational events. Check out what is happening near you.

We recognise that across Buckinghamshire, we have lots of safe and inclusive communities that acknowledge, accept and celebrate diversity. So if you’re feeling inspired to recognise Pride Month, here’s just a few ideas on how you can mark the occasion respectfully and responsibly.
- The rainbow is a symbol closely associated with Pride – so why not get creative with some rainbow themed baking, decorating and/or arts & crafts.
- Mark #PrideMonth by donating to a local LGBTQ+ charity or support group.
- Take the time to find out more about the history of Pride and the LGBTQ+ community and see why it is celebrated globally every June.
- Enjoy a socially distanced garden gathering with close family & friends. Please remember to follow the latest government guidelines and safety measures, including social distancing.
